What Is VisionForce?
Introducing a radical new social technology for individual and societal change.
We are facing a global crisis. Our systems of politics, trade, culture, and ecology have never been more complex, interdependent and fragile. Yet despite the 5-ton elephant on the table, we seem to be drowning in half-hearted, piecemeal attempts at change.
In many ways, we're lost. We don't know how to navigate through the complexity of our postmodern world. So many choices. So many worldviews. Recent technological innovations, dubbed "Web 2.0," are allowing information to become democratized, but we haven't a clue what to do with it.
In our own lives, we feel stressed...constantly. We wonder what the purpose of this experiment called "life" really is. The timeless questions, "Who am I? Why am I here? And how shall I live?" continue to perplex us. We wonder what it really means to be a human being.
And everyone's got "the" answer. Christians. Jews. Muslims. Darwinists. Humanists. Spiritualists. Constructivists. Liberals. Conservatives. The list never ends, really. It's a mess. And though we've made great strides in the evolution toward a world that works for all, we've got a ways to go.
That's where VisionForce comes in. It's a "social"
technology--a set of simple tools for change that, when
used, can result in profound, lasting change in people, families, organizations, and, we believe, society. A way for seemingly "impossible" conflicts to be resolved, for relationships to heal, for organizations to evolve.
We see VisionForce playing an integral role in the emergence of healthier Third, Second, and First World societies. We believe it can:
- Help anyone awaken to her higher
values and vision, and align her life with her
values and vision (thus generating the natural
peace, power, passion and fulfillment that we long
for)
- Heal the tendency towards violence
from the inside out (facing inner conflicts and
becoming whole deals with the source of our problems
of domestic violence, racism, terror, war, etc.)
- Give policymakers, corporate
executives and religious leaders a new model for
communication and cooperation (so many of our
individual fears and concerns are tied to the
decisions being made by those in power. Let's
empower them to unite in a way that generates peace,
compassion and prosperity)
- Give our youth the tools they need
as next-level leaders and visionaries creating vibrant, healthy communities,
businesses and families
- Allow parents to enable their children to
seek guidance from within and connect to a deep sense of
personal honor and vision (and thus giving our
children an effective model to raise their own
visionary children)
- Offer those interested in personal
development, spiritual growth and transformational work a "missing link" to sustaining their practice
and evolving it to a higher level
- Help facilitate a global transition from "trying" to effect change to actually doing it
VisionForce is not based on, nor does it seek to advance, any particular religious, political, or scientific viewpoints--and yet, it draws from so many traditions and and teachings in a uniquely powerful way. Though nothing in this world is truly "original," VisionForce does present a markedly new social technology of freedom.
