What Will You Do Today?

Will you be one of the few to stand up in the face of the criticism and cynicism all around you?

RFK nailed it!  The one essential, vital quality for those of us who seek to change the world is rare today.  It is the fundamental skill taught inside the program called Visionary Mind. 

Consider this... 

All you need to do to BE a revolutionary is TAKE A STAND FOR something.  To stand for something in the face of the unknown and unpredictable.   How do you do that?  Really?  How do you live as a revolutionary? 

It means far more than "being successful" or "making a difference."  Why waste your time doing those things when you can start a revolution?!

Really, consider this... What if instead of causing some change, or making some progress, we started a revolution?   A revolution in the way that human beings interact, communicate and live.  Isn't it time for that?

Let's face it... we may not even survive the decade unless we revolutionize what it means to be a human being. 

Many people in today's world really try to make a difference.  Yet trying isn't good enough.  There is no commitment in simply trying or intending to make a difference.

Really--It is simply NOT ENOUGH.  What happens when you try to cause change or make a difference and no one sees your vision?  What do you do when the world turns against you?  When your fellow partners give up?  When your initiatives fail?

Here's what happens:   We go from being visionaries and activists to being positionaries and reactionaries.   No, you won't find that word, Positionary, in the dictionary.  We made it up!

There is a huge difference between a revolutionary and a positionary.

A positionary digs in his heals or draws his line in the sand and tries to stand for something.  What he or she is really doing is attacking and defending.  This is not a stand for, it is a fight against.

A revolutionary, on the other hand, truly stands for something.  Life for the revolutionary is not centered around the opposition, the conflict, the specific win-lose outcome or the beliefs involved. 

I speak now of what I'll call a new revolutionary or a true revolutionary.  Sure, there have  been many revolutionaries in the past who were little more than violent and rebellious reactionaries and positionaries.

But it is time for a new breed of revolutionaries.  Revolutionaries who are also heroic visionaries.  People who are willing to live their lives from a Stand for something.

Life for them is about an iStand, not a mePosition.

This new breed, these everyday revolutionaries are the ones who will bring the real positive revolution that humanity so badly needs right now.   They are the new heroes.

They are about something much greater and much deeper than simply making a difference or being "good" people.  They are revolutionaries taking a stand for a better life and a better world--a true stand.

Over the past several weeks, those of us at the VFA have been distinguishing more clearly who our technology and methods are for.  And without a doubt, our processes are most valuable to the new revolutionaries--to those who are up to a greater challenge in life.

To the new revolutionaries--the heroes of the Vision Revolution, the old solutions for communication, commitment and action simply don't work anymore.

Compromise is not an option.  Trying is not an option.  Having good intentions and being "good" is not enough.

How do you live your life from a stand?  How do you call even your enemies to greatness?  How do you have the world see your vision?  How do you stand for something in the face of great criticism and fear?

These are the challenges faced by the new revolutionaries.  If you have a sense that this is you...

• If you are tired of trying, tired of "looking successful," tired of "being good" and obedient...  

• If you are ready for a challenge worth living for... worth dying for...

• If you are ready for real passion, deep purpose, and ultimate challenge...

• If you have a sense that you were meant for something greater...

Then consider exploring your Visionary Mind.
